ABOUT ME

This image shows a smiling woman holding two ice cream cones, one with red sorbet and the other with a creamy, chocolate-flavored ice cream. She is wearing sunglasses and standing on a street lined with buildings, with "Die Eisperle" branding on the cones, suggesting this is a local ice cream shop. The background includes a street crossing and some pedestrians.

The Face Behind The Blog

I’m Tina, a vegan with wanderlust. I’ve lived in Austria for most of my life, but it wasn’t until I travelled the world that I truly appreciated its beauty. And now I want to share this beauty with you!

I’ll give you genuine travel advice, straight from someone who has explored this country inside out. Whether it’s hidden gems in the mountains or must-see cultural sites, I’ll let you know if something is worth your time.

My Story

Blogging & Traveling

Living in Austria

In July 2022, I began travelling to figure out where I wanted to live. After two years of exploring the world, I realised there was still so much to discover in my own backyard. So, I decided to move to Vienna.

Now, I explore Austria, my home country. That said, I’m definitely not done travelling abroad. I still love travelling and will continue to do so.

How I Got Started Blogging

In summer 2022, I quit my job, moved out of my apartment, and started travelling. During those early days, I created my first blog, Veganderlust, to document my international adventures.

After about two years of exploring and writing about global destinations, I found myself wanting to share more about my home country, Austria.

That’s why I started this blog – to highlight the amazing places I’ve discovered right here in Austria.

Vegan Food

I’ve been vegan since 2007, and it’s been amazing to watch the vegan movement grow. The vegan food scene in Austria has changed so much over the years. These days, finding great vegan food in Austrian cities is easy, with a growing number of vegan-friendly restaurants and shops.

However, things can still get a bit tricky in the countryside, where options can be limited. But no matter where I go, I love exploring the local vegan food scene and sharing my favourite finds with you.
